Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced steel fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have experience with flux core welding, steel fabrication, and structural steel welding.

As a Welder, your responsibilities will include:

  • Welding and fabricating steel and metal into structural components for large-scale projects
  • Measuring, cutting, and welding steel materials according to project blueprints and specifications
  • Fitting and welding steel beams and parts to meet precise measurements
  • Interpreting fabrication/shop blueprints and following specific measurements and AWS weld symbols
  • Performing flux core welding and working with structural steel components
Top Skills & Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

  • 1-4+ years of flux core welding experience
  • 1-4 years of welding and fabricating steel or metal (especially structural steel)
  • Ability to work from blueprints to fabricate, measure, and weld steel structures
  • Proficiency in welding on mild steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel
  • Experience in fitting and welding steel beams and parts
  • Knowledge of AWS weld symbols and arc welding
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with stainless steel welding
  • Familiarity with arc welding and back gauging
  • Experience working with fitting steel structures
  • Ability to work with welding and fitting symbols used in fabrication
Additional Skills & Responsibilities:
  • Welding on stainless, mild, or carbon steel for various projects
  • Ability to fit and weld steel beams and parts to meet specifications
  • Conduct back gauging and arc welding as needed
  • Operate tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently and safely
